I-40 Studios is a film and television Development and Production company, located in Nashville, Tennessee, where Interstate 40 runs right through the heart of it all. With a deep commitment to the highest production values, top-tier talent, top-tier music, and wide audience appeal, I-40 creates and produces stories and experiences for worldwide theatrical and streaming release, supported by world class music: in soundtrack, “inspired by” collections with renowned artists, and supporting music events.

We are committed to being Light in the Darkness, to elevate the human spirit, honor and affirm the Creator of that spirit, by creating experiences dedicated to the greatest storytellers’ timehonored heroic code. Sports stories, Biopics of the Great Ones, Music Stories, Action Adventure, and yes of course, comedies. All audiences. We call this genre and style, HEARTLAND.

We observe that the overwhelming majority of audiences crave, and will pay to see the same. and to paraphrase one of the greatest Heartland movies of all time, Field of Dreams…

If You Build it, they will come.

THE MODEL

I-40 is a fully sustainable studio. In partnership with established producers, directors, and production companies, we develop, produce and acquire world class content for both mass, and niche audiences, to be licensed, sold, and distributed primarily on the global streaming platforms, supported by limited theatrical runs.

Like the Walt Disney company of the middle 20th century, or the Frank Capra films of the 1940s and 50s, with an I-40 film, you know what you’re getting going in. Heartland Heroic is our brand, and that defines every story we tell, in the PG-13 range, the most profitable of all the ratings classes.

Fiercely committed to excellence, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of production value and talent, while controlling our costs. Each title is aggressively promoted with our marketing partners, and supported by world-class music product and events, launched and produced right here in Music City, USA.​​

I-40 STUDIOS is a new movie studio founded by 30-year writer-producer Howie

Klausner (SPACE COWBOYS, REAGAN among his top titles). Over the course of his career, Mr.

Klausner has created a robust catalogue of original content, gathered a team of like-minded (and

steadily working!) professionals in film, music, marketing and digital delivery systems with the

aim of creating and licensing Heartland style content— satisfying stories that reflect the heart of

this country— non-politically charged, non-woke, non-insulting, no left or right wing lectures.

What we call Heartland. Heroic. Good over Evil. Pro-family. Pro-USA. Pro-Judeo-

Christian. Pro-People. Equally respectful of each race, creed and color. Comedy and Drama,

Action-Adventure, Sports, Historical and Love stories. Even a faith title or two. All falling in the

PG-13 space, the largest and most successful rating class of all.

These remain the most popular themes and qualities to the majority of Americans, our

target audience. Much like the Walt Disney Company product and approach from the 1950s to

the 80s, this is the distinct and recognizable I-40 brand.
